A WALL OF SEPARATION

It is evident
that Major Hasan is a follower of the same ideology that is being advocated by
hundreds of Islamic scholars throughout the United States, those who espouse
bombings, beheadings, murdering and Muslim so-called honor killing. We, as a
country, cannot continue to play ostrich and bury our politically correct heads
in the sand. We continue to deny that there are numerous Islamic leaders and
support organizations, active within our borders, who are anti-American and who
advocate killing innocent men, women and children.
Radical Islam is
determined to destroy all States and Governments which are opposed anywhere on
the face of the earth which are opposed to the ideology and program of Islam,
because radicals rule Islam at this moment in history. Its adherents plan
domination of the earth – not just a portion of it but the whole planet. They
are driven by open hatred directed toward Non-Muslims, Jews, and all those who
do not adhere to Sharia (Muslim) law. That will not change no matter how much
President Obama begs them or how sweetly and lovingly he treats them.
It is true that
peace loving Muslims do not advocate murder and hatred, but that is extraneous.
They are cowed and made irrelevant by their great silence. But almost without
exception they and their Muslim leaders fail to forcefully oppose it. They have
forgotten that the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to
do nothing. Men and nations who refuse to take a stand against the evils of
Islamic terrorism will one day be consumed by it.
Had the attack of
9-11 been committed by 20 Episcopalians rather than 20 Muslims, we would have
had Congressional hearings and a national debate on the need to outlaw the
Episcopal Church. Why don’t we have a national debate on outlawing Muslims? We
don’t because we are fearful, pathetic and so politically correct that we are an
embarrassment to ourselves.
The unseen
elephant in the tent is Islam. Is it possible to be a good American and a good
Muslim at the same time? Is it possible to serve in the U.S. military and to be
trusted to preserve, protect and defend America and still be a Muslim?
The answer to
both questions is “Yes” but only if the American Constitution and the American
way of life are first on the list of priorities with Koranic political doctrines
and directives much further down the list. Islam and the Koran are a mind-set
composed of half religious passion and half religious instruction and half
political party platform. Prudence dictates that there always be a wall of
separation between mosque and state.
The truth is
Muslim schools throughout the world and within the United States teach that
Allah will reward Muslims if they kill Non-Muslims and Jews. Mamoud Ahmadinejad,
the President of Iran, believes that fighting a nuclear war with Israel in which
all Iranians die, as long as all the Jews in Israel die as well, is just and
holy.
Meanwhile
President Obama has transitioned from his “be sweet and gentle to Muslims”
discourse to a “don’t be too quick to pass judgment on Major Hasan” directive.
After all only fifty or more people were eye witnesses to his slaughter, and we
don’t want to offend American Muslims by declaring what really happened and
besides, doesn’t Islam fall under the “protected species” religion protection
act? Those who were murdered by Hasan heard his Muslim chant just before passing
into eternity and meeting their Maker. In light of the horrific events that took
place at Fort Hood last week, how can we continue to treat the Islamic religion
as though it were not a very real threat to America’s existence and why do so
many of our political and governmental leaders continue to worship at the altar
of the false god of diversity?
Is it the
President of the United States’ job to protect Muslims, or is it his job to
protect American Citizens? There should be no confusion as to where our
President’s loyalty lies. Once and for all he needs to declare whether he’s
going to be President of the Muslims, or President of the United States.
It is sadly
apparent that we cannot continue handling America’s Muslim population the same
way we have handled them in the past. In the future Muslim leaders must be
required to take full responsibility for their people and for what their
children are being taught. If they desire to reside here and enjoy the benefits
of our Constitution and the American way of life, they must teach their children
that they are Americans first and always. If they can’t abide by those simple
rules, they need to immediately immigrate to some other country.
A lot has gone
wrong. How do we get the nation back on track? First, we must insist that Muslim
leaders purge radicals from leadership and teaching positions in their
communities. They must inculcate their fellow Muslim citizens with the knowledge
that they are Americans first and always, and that in our country there will
always be a wall of separation between mosque and state.
Second, America
must rid itself of being so timid and politically correct when handling or
talking about things “Muslim”. The Constitution applies to all Americans and it
should be applied equally. All of us must obey the same laws and there can be no
place in this nation for those who want to live under Sharia or any other kind
of foreign or religious law.
I do not pretend
to know what motivates Muslims to make the choices they do. That is a mystery.
But what is not a mystery are the hard choices we Americans now having to face
because of Muslim terrorism and radicalism -- choices reminiscent of those
forced on the Jews by Germany in the 1930s.
But let Islamic
terrorists and their enablers be warned. We are Americans and we will fight them
and their evil to the death -- whenever and wherever we must. And when we fight,
we will win!
