In God We Trust

Editor's note: If The Obama administration continues it's destruction of our free-enterprise system, this car could be in your future...

Despite the obvious, that it would be some extremely bumpy ride, driving a car on wooden wheels is most likely technically impossible. Well maybe you can crawl along at about 8 kilometers per hour. But imagine the wear and tear on the shocks and struts. Ecologically, it is a waste of trees. Wooden wheels are fine for children's toys, wagons pulled by horses, lounge chairs, utility tables, etc. but certainly not practical on automobiles.

The car owner probably works with wood and thought it would be a novelty. That it is, but about as practical as those wooden shoes you see, speaking of complete lack of comfort. These wheels would most likely wear out quickly also on the road not to mention parking it anywhere near some hungry beavers or termites.

So just remember what it feels like trying to drive when you have a flat tire. Something to dread, but...one thing is you don't need to put air in these tires! Another thought, perhaps there are holes in the car's floor so that the driver can...er...run.
