Why the News Blackout of Possibly Greatest
Constitutional Crisis since the Civil War?

The politicians and the media would have you believe
that this political season and the events
surrounding it are the most crucial in the history
of the United States.
They are deceiving you.
On both sides of the aisle, the politicians and the
media are deliberately hiding real news, while the
destruction of our constitutional republic silently
continues, concealed by the artificially created
noise of Presidential campaigning.
The politicians and the media are whistling past the
graveyard of the United States.
They cannot reveal uncomfortable news because they
may appear complicit in what might be the greatest
fraud ever perpetrated on the American people;
because exposure would rock the foundations of a
corrupt political-media complex, which sustains
individual power, privilege and wealth at the
expense of the well-being of the nation.
No one should underestimate the dangers of
unsustainable debt, a weak economy, a bloated and
dysfunctional federal government or a polarized
electorate defined by class warfare and ripe for
politically-motivated violence.
They are all serious challenges to the stability of
the country. Yet they are solvable problems, but not
so without addressing the corruption deeply embedded
in our political system.
For the politicians and the media, business as usual
is little more than a metaphor for corruption as
usual.
There is no hope that the present trajectory of the
Democrat or Republican Presidential campaigns will
deliver the needed change. The election will only
determine which side gets the greater portion of the
power, privilege and wealth.
Current events have left little doubt that our
federal government is no longer limited by the
Constitution, our politicians are no longer
constrained by the rule of law and our elections no
longer determine that future legislation necessarily
reflects the will of the people.
The great irony of our time is that freedom of
speech, represented by telling the unvarnished
political truth, is imperiled by freedom of the
press when that press becomes an instrument of a
corrupt status quo.
The politicians and the media are simply purveyors
of a conventional wisdom defined along narrow
political lines and dominated by self-interest.
In 1920, Russian Marxist revolutionary and communist
politician, Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, unintentionally
predicted the evolution of the American
political-media complex:
“Why should freedom of speech and freedom of the
press be allowed? Why should a government which is
doing what it believes to be right allow itself to
be criticized? It would not allow opposition by
lethal weapons. Ideas are much more fatal things
than guns. Why should any man be allowed to buy a
printing press and disseminate pernicious opinion
calculated to embarrass the government?”
Lenin feared both the truth and the people. All
tyrants do.
It would indeed embarrass the U.S. government, both
Republicans and Democrats, and their co-conspirators
in the mainstream media, if facts were made known
about violations of the Constitution, contempt for
the rule of law and how representative government
has been perverted to maintain the political status
quo.
Although the investigation remains incomplete and
the veracity of the allegations is yet to be
determined, at a March 1, 2012 press conference,
Arizona's Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio stated:
"President Barack Obama's long-form birth
certificate released by the White House on April 27,
2011, is suspected to be a computer-generated
forgery, not a scan of an original 1961 paper
document as represented by the White House when the
long-form birth certificate was made public."
In addition, the Arpaio
report
claimed that Obama's Selective Service card was most
likely also a forgery and the records of the
Immigration and Naturalization Service cards filled
out by airplane passengers arriving on international
flights originating outside the United States for
the week of President Obama's birth, including the
dates Aug. 1, 1961 through Aug. 7, 1961 are
inexplicably missing from the National Archives in
Washington, D.C
More revelations stemming from the Arpaio
investigation will undoubtedly be forthcoming. Yet
despite the potential historic Constitutional
implications and reminiscent of Lenin’s dogma, the
politicians and the media not only remain silent but
actively suppress legitimate inquiry
Why is that? Because facts are stubborn things.
President John F. Kennedy said:
“We are not afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts, foreign ideas, alien philosophies, and competitive values. For a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is afraid of its people.”
The politicians and the media are afraid to let the
American people judge the truth and falsehood of
their statements and actions.
They are afraid of us.
